Are you looking to play hockey while working or studying in Adelaide, Australia? 

We are one of the oldest hockey clubs in South Australia and despite being a University club, we are open to all hockey players, not just students and alumni. We have teams in both the Premier League men's and women's competition in Adelaide with our winter season running from March – September 2026. So if you arelooking to move to Australia on a working holiday/gap year/university student exchange in 2026 and would like to play hockey while you are here, please feel free to contact us. 

We can assist you in finding accommodation as well as providing coaching and umpiring opportunities in addition to assisting you find other employment here in Adelaide. 

Our international standard water based pitch is located about 15 minutes from the Adelaide CBD and we can assist you with transport if required.

STUDY AND EXCHANGE PROGRAM - ADELAIDE UNIVERSITY

Adelaide University offer a 'Study Abroad and Exchange Program' which allows international students to study at the University for up to two semesters. The University has 'exchange partners' all over the world - Europe, South America, Asia, UK, USA.

The application deadlines to studyat Adelaide University in 2026 are as follows:

• Semester 1 2026 - deadline is 1st November 2025
• Winter School 2026 - deadline is 1st May 2026 (runs from the end of June to the end of July)
• Semester 2 2026 - deadline is 1st May 2026
